Abba’s House is a furnished one-bedroom 700-square-foot cottage located 1.5 miles from downtown Black Mountain. The cottage has a full kitchen, one bath with shower and is all on one level, no steps or stairways, with level parking area and yard. The cottage offers a woodstove and warm ceramic baseboard heat for wintertime guests. For warmer weather, air conditioning and ceiling fans are available for a comfortable visit. Located on Watson family property, Abba’s House provides homespun hospitality in a neighborhood with a wooded view from the base of Rainbow Mountain. Montreat hiking trails are just outside the cottage door, and driving time to Black Mountain, Montreat or Ridgecrest amounts to mere minutes. Asheville is also close by, about a 20-minute drive. Imagine restful, relaxing refreshment, “away from it all” and yet convenient to everything that will make your stay a joy to remember. Come to the quiet The back deck offers covered outdoor space with comfortable seating and another peaceful setting to enjoy. Abba’s has a single daybed in the open den area for additional sleeping, if needed. The kitchen is stocked with coffeemaker, teapot, toaster, microwave and conventional oven, refrigerator, cookware, dishes, coffee, tea and some staple items. |
